Katie and Chris, Winston-Salem, NC

We just shot Katie and Chris' wedding last weekend in Winston-Salem. St.Leo's Church was a beautiful setting for their nuptuals. Their wedding started off very traditional with a full Catholic mass. The reception, on the other hand, was anything but traditional! Katie and Chris had their reception at the Children's Museum. There were so many fun places to shoot! My favorite detail from the wedding was their awesome cake. Maxie B's captured the fun and funky spirit with the cake, complete with Princess Leia and Hans Solo cake toppers!

The Hayloft

Logan and Chris were so much fun to work with on their wedding day. The wedding party was so excited they were jumping for joy before the ceremony!

We are totally in love with the new venue The Hayloft. The people who run The Hayloft orignally fixed up their old barn for their daughter's wedding. Their daughter, Crystal's wedding was such a hit that they have since started renting out their barn to other couples who are looking for a country setting for their receptions.

Asheville, NC

Mel and I love to go to Asheville for weddings! I am a former Ashevillian, so I love to visit all of my old haunts, as well as my friends! Lainie and Richard's wedding at the Biltmore Forest Country Club was gorgeous. We were a bit worried as we loaded the car up in torrential rains....we are talking flash floods....but by the time we got to the club the sun was peaking through the clouds. It turned out to be a wonderful evening! Here are a few picts from their big day.
